Editorial Storytelling for Organisations
Sam Singleton is an internationally published photographer and writer, with work appearing in The Big Issue, The i Paper, the Centre for British Documentary Photography and Garage Talk Online.
He works with organisations to document what actually happens inside them, combining photography, interviews and clear editorial writing.
Most organisations have more happening inside them than their usual communications can show.
I document the people involved, the work being done and the reasons it matters. The result is editorial work that feels specific, human and useful rather than like a polished version of the usual description.
The Core Offer
I spend time understanding the people and work behind an organisation, then turn that access into a properly reported visual story.
That might mean photographing a workplace, interviewing the people involved, writing the accompanying feature or delivering the complete package for publication.
The aim is to show the reality of the work rather than reproduce the usual polished description of it.

RELEVANT PERSPECTIVE
My background spans photography, writing, mechanics, skilled work, housing and lived experience.
That gives me practical access to subjects that can be difficult to explain from the outside, including labour, training, class, workplace culture, housing and the systems people rely on.
I’m particularly interested in work that treats people as participants rather than symbols, and that makes room for the detail behind the headline.

Give 5 / Save 10
Charities are being asked to do more with less. Demand is rising, costs are increasing and many organisations are operating with very little room for error.
The Charity Commission reported that cases involving charities in insolvency or financial difficulty nearly doubled in one year, from 98 to 184.
People are often willing to support a charity, but a donation still needs a reason to happen. Give 5 / Save 10 makes that support part of the commission.
On eligible projects, if you donate 5% of the invoice value directly to any registered charity, I’ll reduce my professional fees by 10%. You choose the charity.
The donation goes directly to them. The saving applies to my time and creative work, while travel, accommodation and other direct costs remain outside the offer.
A better project for you, and useful money reaching a charity that needs it.
